The 11th Vietnam Manufacturing Industry Exhibition were hosted in Ho Chi Ming City, Vietnam from 9/21~9/24, attended by 220 companies from China, Hong Kong, India, Israel, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, U.A.E, U.S.A , Turkey, Iran, Australia, Germany and Vietnam.
The exhibition was organized by Ministry of Industry & Trade -Vietnam National Trade Fair & Advertising Joint-stock Company, and Yorkers Trade & Marketing Service co., Ltd. And the show benefits under the cooperation of, Chan Chao International Co., Ltd., Paper Communication Exhibition Service, Vietnam Plastics Association (VPA), Vietnam Rubber Association (VRA) and Vietnam Printing Association (Vinaprint).
With more than 11,500 professional buyers and visitors registered in the exhibition, and 220 international exhibitors from 17 countries taking up 500 booths occupying the 5,000 sqm exhibition ground. The scale of the event is 25% bigger than previous event. The exhibition provided a great business platform for companies looking for reaching new clients as well as professional buyers.
During the 4 day events, both exhibitors and visitors were satisfied with the fruitful outcome of the exhibition. Most exhibitors claimed that they were able to reach their target customers and learn about the latest technologies in the industry; visitors were pleased with the overall presentation and content of the exhibition; most were able to gain the information and knowledge they sought.
After a successful edition, Vietnam Industry Fair have draw more attention than before not only in Vietnam but also in the country which is around Vietnam like Thailand, Cambodia, India, etc. Due to the overwhelming response, majority of the exhibitors showed interest in participating in the next year.
Vietnam HCM Manufacturing Industry Exhibition will be held again from October 24~27, 2012 at SECC center. It will definitely be an industrial exhibition that you can’t miss to attend. |

Over the past 5 years, the GDP growth increased by 15% per year in extended industry, 18.50% in manufacturing and services, 6.90% in machinery sector on average. There is also an increase of 22.16%/year in foreign capital investment area, 8.68%/year in national economic area averagely.
Food Processing- Pharmaceutical
Nearly 80 percent of the Vietnamese population is involved in agriculture, which accounts for 30 percent of the GDP and 40 percent of the nation's exports.
Although the demand for machinery and equipment in the industry is huge, the domestic machinery industry cannot satisfy the internal demand because (despite some skill in copying and reverse-engineering) it has proven poor in design and quality. For the most part, domestic equipment is used in small scale processing factories. Medium and larger food processing enterprises and even smaller firms producing high quality products must rely on imported machinery and equipment. The food processing sector is forecast to maintain an average annual growth rate of 10 ¡V 15 percent for the short term.
