The 5th manufacturing Hanoi 2008 successfully launched from June 05 to June 08 2008 at Hanoi International Center for Exhibition (ICE Hanoi). The exhibition was jointly organized by Ministry of Industry & Trade - Vietnam National Trade Fair & Advertising Joint-stock Company, and Yorkers Trade & Marketing Service co., Ltd

With more than 11,400 professional buyers and visitors registered in the exhibition, and 128 international exhibitors taking up 210 booths occupying the 4,389 sqm exhibition ground. The exhibition was phenomenon which created a unique and productive experience for visitors and exhibitors. The categories of exhibits includes popular categories from Machine tool's Machine centers, milling machines, lathe, grinders, EDM, test equipments and tools to Plastic Industries' rubber, plastic, packaging, printing, raw materials, and equipments.

During the 4 day events, both exhibitors and visitors were satisfied with the fruitful outcome of the exhibition. Most exhibitors were able to meet their target customers, who came to place orders, make inquiries, and learn about the latest technologies in the industry; and the visitors were pleased with the overall presentation and content of the exhibition; most were able to gain the information and knowledge they seek for.

Manufacturing Hanoi brings the linkage between 2 major industries, Machine tool and Plastics; the exhibition became an interactive ground allowing buyers and visitors of Hanoi area to exchange latest information, knowledge, and technologies; furthermore, it also helps to strengthen the foreign investment, and provide divine force to production and economic growth in Vietnam.

Due to the overwhelming response, majority of the exhibitors showed interest in participating in the next year’s Manufacturing Hanoi. As the result, the next Manufacturing Hanoi will be expanded into 2 separate shows, Hanoi PlasPrintPack 2010 and Hanoi Food tech 2010 is scheduled to be held on May 18-21 2010. Machine Tool & Automation Hanoi (www.linkage-vn.com/hanoi/mt_01.asp) is scheduled be held on June 17 - 20 2009. Both shows will be held in Hanoi International Center for Exhibition (ICE Hanoi).
